Paris

22 February, 2015 to 24 February, 2015

DAY 1
We arrived in Paris just in time by train. The city welcomed us with an ice cold wind and a little sunshine. After 1 hour of taking metros and walking a bit lost by absolutely lovely restaurants, bistros and bars in Paris, we finally found our Hotel R. Kipling, right below the famous Moulin Rouge. Later we found out that we could have take the metro right to the Moulin Rouge - well, it was fun finding our way through Paris and it was definitely a big help in finding our way later on the trip.

THE HOTEL
Coloured in a "not to miss" orange, with a bus station right infront of the door and a 2 minutes walk from the metro station "blanche", the R. Kipling Hotel is in a perfect place.
Our room was lovely painted in blue and white, with a perfect kingsized bed, a cute little bathroom and a television.
The R.Kipling is definitely a perfect hotel for people who want to see Paris during the day and sleep in a beautiful soft bed at night. The room we had was not made for a stay during the day - that for it was definitely to small. But it was more that enough for us.
From all the walking we got so hungry that, after we set up in the hotel, we decided to go for an early dinner.
THE CONCERT
Getting ready for a concert always gets you super excited for the event.
We arrived at the Les Etoiles Theatre where a lot of people were already waiting.
The location was just like i expected. Big enough, so that the acoustic would be good but small enough that you have a private feeling with the misician.
A bit later than planed, the concert started and i have to say - James Bay is one of my favourite life acts now!
The concert was just amazing !
to be continued...

love,
