Copenhagen

16 May, 2015 to 20 May, 2015

DAY 2
My second day in Copenhagen was very quiet. I was so smashed from the night before that I stayed in bed all day. The little kitten was by my side all the time.
Around 6pm I've decided to move and use the rest of the beautiful weather to see a bit more of Copenhagen.
The house was not far from the haven so I went there to walk along the pier and see the little mermaid (den lille havfrue). The view was breathtaking!
On my way along the pier to Nyhavn I saw the Opera, the Theatre some boats and statues.
Walking got me hungry. A quick look at the Copenhagen-website told me that the Nyhavnskroen was one of the best restaurants in Copenhagen. So I stopped by to dine. The burger was super delicious and I've never seen such a big coca cola in my life! I can only recommend this place. And this is how my day ended.

Copenhagen

16 May, 2015 to 20 May, 2015

I was very excited to go to Copenhagen. My friends told me so much good things about it and I really couldn't wait. Because everyone said that Copenhagen is something special I decided to go for four days to have enough time. And for four days I choose to use Airbnb to really life in Copenhagen during my stay. Note to myself - good choice!
DAY 1
My flight left crazy early in the morning but it was pleasant one and thankfully there were no kids on board. At the Airport I picked up some money (the Danish Kroner have holes in the middle, which I think is adorably funny) and bought a train ticket to Østerport.
The train/metro/bus-net in Copenhagen is very simple and it's easy to find your way.
My Airbnb-home-for-a-few-days was just a view minutes from the station.
The House was wonderful and my host was an easygoing, very nice young mother. She showed me around the house and introduced me to her cute little cats.
I was working the night before and my flight left so early that the fist thing I did when i arrived was taking a long nap.
I got up at 6pm, took a shower and made my way to the centre to dine. The weather was supposed to be really bad so while I was eating some really good sushi at the Sushi Nørregade, I replanned my stay in Copenhagen.
My best friend wrote me a whole list of things I was supposed to see or do and one of them was "Go to the K-Bar!" - which I did.
After a view drinks and two hours of spying on the bartenders technic I was ready to hit a club and so I wrote a friend of mine who's living in Copenhagen and we've decided to go out. We had a few drinks at his apartment and he introduced me to some of his friends. Klosteret was the club we hit later this night. It was awesome and I had so much fun.
Early in the morning, quite drunk but happy I felt asleep at home. On my way I had this delicious snack which I totally forgot the name of. Tastes better than it looks - promise!

Thank you London

22 & 23 April, 2015

On the second day I had kind of a tight schedule because I had to leave so early for my flight. I check out the minute I got up and placed my luggage in the hotel luggage storage.

DAY 2
This day was even more about food than the fist. I decided to go up to Notting Hill to see one of my favourite places in England - Portobello Road. But fist I went to South Kensington to walk along the King's Road and Fulham Road for a little window-shopping. On Fulham Rd I stopped by this lovely place called L'ETO and ate this lovely cake. Later I made my way to Notting Hill.
Notting Hill is adorable. The last time I was in London I spent a lot of time there with my parents. The fist goal in Notting Hill was the Bumpkin restaurant. Walking up there I passed a lot of cute shops and my favorite pizza place the Arancina. Pembridge Villas, Chepstow  Crescent and than along the Ledbury Road straight the the Restaurant.
After a delicious meal I walked along the Westbourne Park Road to Portobello Road where the market magic, and these colourful houses begun.
And so my time flew away. After walking along Portobello Road I had to make my way back to the Hotel to pick up my luggage and take the train to Gatwick Airport.
THE RÉSUMÉ
Being in London has been a pleasure as always. I tried a lot of new food places and my stay at the Sara Hotel was more than just good. London really is a city you have to visit and the best thing are the people are so helpful nice and lovely and the food!
