Merci Paris

22 February, 2015 to 24 February, 2015

DAY 3
The alarm clock was ringing at 9am. We didn't want to miss the breakfast again so my sister and i got up and went to the room behind the reception where we had a lovely breakfast.
It was our last day and there were still some things we really wanted to see und places we wanted to visit.
Fist on the list was the Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre
We took the metro which was not far from our Hotel and 15 minutes later we walked the stairs up to the church.
The view was great.
After walking all these stairs up and down we've decided to go shopping at Paris most famous shopping-street: Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
We shopped a view hours and spent half an hour haning out at the Ladurée-Caffee.
And so the last day in Paris passed by...

THE RÉSUMÉ

Paris is a wonderful city. Personally, Paris is no city for me to live in but for trips - especially for short trips - the city is absolutley lovey. There are so many tourist features to see and places to vistit. Paris has so much in store to show and it really is a metropolis.

Paris, je t'aime ! Merci !

Paris

DAY 2
We have slept totally in the day but the bed was so comfortable, we just couldn't get up. After the third message from my good friend Ana-Larina Cooper we finally made it out of bed. Quick breakfast and than we were ready to go.
The weather was much colder than the day before and the wind was even more icy.

Cooper and her friend Alessandra Bloom were waiting at the Eiffel Tower.
selfie in the cold:
Half frozen we went to a coffee near by the Eiffel Tower to have a drink and chat.
For later on Copper and Alessandra had tickets for a Fashion Show in St Gervais and spontaneous they decided to take us with them.
I have worked quite a lot with Models and on Shows in Switzerland and I am very in to fashion but i've never been to an actual Show on a Fashion Week, so I was pretty excited.

THE SHOW
The event was in a hall near the metro station Saint-Paul. The Show, Messy Massage Class from Henrik Vibskov was quite confusing but not bad at all. I really liked his collection.
Highlight from the evening was that Shaun Ross was walking!
After the Show, we went to a cafe La Favorite near by. Later we've been joined by some friends of Cooper and Alessandra and we really had a nice time over some drinks and freshly made potato fries.

Paris

22 February, 2015 to 24 February, 2015

DAY 1
We arrived in Paris just in time by train. The city welcomed us with an ice cold wind and a little sunshine. After 1 hour of taking metros and walking a bit lost by absolutely lovely restaurants, bistros and bars in Paris, we finally found our Hotel R. Kipling, right below the famous Moulin Rouge. Later we found out that we could have take the metro right to the Moulin Rouge - well, it was fun finding our way through Paris and it was definitely a big help in finding our way later on the trip.

THE HOTEL
Coloured in a "not to miss" orange, with a bus station right infront of the door and a 2 minutes walk from the metro station "blanche", the R. Kipling Hotel is in a perfect place.
Our room was lovely painted in blue and white, with a perfect kingsized bed, a cute little bathroom and a television.
The R.Kipling is definitely a perfect hotel for people who want to see Paris during the day and sleep in a beautiful soft bed at night. The room we had was not made for a stay during the day - that for it was definitely to small. But it was more that enough for us.
From all the walking we got so hungry that, after we set up in the hotel, we decided to go for an early dinner.
THE CONCERT
Getting ready for a concert always gets you super excited for the event.
We arrived at the Les Etoiles Theatre where a lot of people were already waiting.
The location was just like i expected. Big enough, so that the acoustic would be good but small enough that you have a private feeling with the misician.
A bit later than planed, the concert started and i have to say - James Bay is one of my favourite life acts now!
The concert was just amazing !

short explanation

Since I started writing just yesterday, I need to bring the month January to the paper. Let's just pretend it is January, so I can share my trip to Paris.

The moment, I decided that Paris would be my fist city was when I got the news, that James Bay would play at the Les Etoiles Theatre in Paris on the 22nd. So I booked the trip around that date.

As company I took my sister with me. She was in Hannover for an internship, so to spend some quality time with her I wanted to take her with me.

Chapter 1

New Years Eve. Everybody tries to start over. This one evening, when you can forget everything that happened in 2014 and clear your heart and mind from the bad things. Also a must have - New Years Resolutions.

Most popular ?
• lose weight
• quit smoking
• drink less
• save money
• eat healthier
and so on...

All together way to complicated and boring for me. So I created my own little thing. My personal little resolution:

#onecityeachmonth

I will travel each month to an other city in Europe for about 3-4 days.
I won't do the normal tourist things. I will just be there and enjoy the city, meeting new people and having fun :)
All this, I will share in my blog. Together with fashion, nature and all the beautiful things I do and see.
