Dankeschön Berlin

30 June, 2015 to 02 July, 2015

DAY 3
I spend the morning before the flight at the espresso ambulanz near my hotel. Delicious coffee and sweets !
Back at the hotel I packed my stuff and left.
THE HOTEL
I can really really recommend the Hotel Calma Berlin Mitte. With a metro station just a view minutes walk far away and a great location right in the city center, the hotel is just perfect.
My room was big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I had my own keys to my room and to the side door of the hotel. It was actually more like and apartment than a hotel which I thought was really cool. The whole hotel was painted in white and different shades of grey.

THE RÉSUMÉ
Berlin is a very interesting city. The history is huge und the buildings just breathtaking. The People are very cool and nice and the style-level is very high as well. It's easy to get to know new people and have a chit chat, everyone is very open. Berlin has a lot to offer! Hip places, nice stores and architecture, a lot of history and awesome population.
It is worth the trip !

Berlin

30 June, 2015 to 02 July, 2015

DAY 2
I woke up to a bright sunny day. My plan for the day was to walk around Berlin, visit an old friend from my mother (to bring swiss chocolate and cheese) and continue with the monuments and the attractions.

I had breakfast on the way to my mothers old friend which is the owner of a cute book store.
After delivering greetings, swiss chocolate and cheese I made my way to the city and ended up at the Museumsinsel where I've decided to make a "boat-tripp". The boat was driving the Spree up and down, along the Tierpark, all the political important houses of Berlin and passed the Schweizerbotschaft as well.
Right next to the jetty where my boat trip started and ended was Sea Life Berlin - I didn't have to think twice.
Before I went to Berlin my sister told me about one of the best restaurants to go to - Hans Im Glück !
Without lying - the best and funniest drinks and the burger was super delicious.
For the night I had planed to visit the Oberbaumbrücke, a quite famous bridge where a lot of german movies take place.
I had an amazing view to the Fernsehturm.
And one think you can't miss when you are visiting Berlin - going on top (well as far as you can) of the Fernsehturm
The view by night is incredible!
And so ended my second and last day in Berlin.

Berlin

30 June, 2015 to 02 July, 2015

I have been to Berlin twice before but only for a view hours. I had no time to see the city and all of the monuments and memorials.  So this time I did everything I could not so before.

DAY 1
The first day really way about the monuments and the memorials I wanted to visit. I put a list together of the things I had to visit. So after I checked in my beautiful, clean and lovely Hotel Calma Berlin Mitte, I took a shower and checked the metro to get the fastest way to see it all in one afternoon.
The view from a side street from my hotel straight to the Fernsehturm.

after I visited the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (of which I haven't take a photo out of respect) I stopped by the little restaurant Meli Wellfood on the way the Checkpoint Charlie.
I was walking around Berlin the whole day, visiting all the attractions. The weather was nice but still very hot so I was taking a shower asap I got back to the hotel. Without really having a plan I got ready for the night and had this delicious Cosmopolitan in the DaDa Falafel around the corner.
The sun went down an over snapchat one of my friends from work contacted me. He was in Berlin was well (with some friends) and since I haven't had a plan they invited my to come over. So I went to the Warschauer Strasse station where I had a incredible view over sunset Berlin. We had a fun night and I went home around 3am.
